Hey there,
I’m Shawna.
On the personal front…
I’m a dedicated mom to two amazing boys, Trey (15) and Tanner (13), both of whom are passionate about baseball! They’ve been involved in the sport since they were 5, starting with t-ball and advancing to coach pitch and machine pitch. They’ve been playing club and travel baseball since they were 8. We enjoy traveling to different states to visit baseball stadiums, and one of our most recent and memorable experiences was attending the College World Series in Omaha, NE.
Back in 2019…
I held a position as a Project Manager in Corporate America, working remotely but dedicating approximately 60-70 hours per week to my job. Alongside seeking an income replacement, I was also eager to make healthier choices for my household. It was my sister, a registered nurse, who introduced me to the wellness company, and I was immediately drawn to both the quality of the products and the income potential through simply sharing the store with others. Little did I know, I would find so much more.
My journey hasn’t been without its challenges.
I embarked on my career journey in the mortgage industry in my early twenties, and I was captivated by it, despite the demanding hours. While my husband was also building his career, I juggled work to support our household. When our two sons, Trey and Tanner, came along, our responsibilities multiplied. Climbing the career ladder into training, management, and leadership roles demanded even more time away from my family. Despite the stress and exhaustion, I was driven by the need to provide for my loved ones.
After 12 years of marriage and 15 years together, my husband asked for a divorce. Although I hoped our relationship could weather the storm, he felt differently. I prioritized minimizing disruption for our boys, so we moved out and began a new chapter. The transition was tough, but we found solace in making new memories together.
I continued pouring my energy into my career as the Director of Business Development at a mortgage company, relishing every moment. However, tragedy struck a year and a half after our divorce when the boys’ father took his own life. It was a devastating blow for our family, and I knew I needed to prioritize my sons during this challenging time.
I took a hiatus from my corporate job, relying on the steady income from the Wellness Company to support us. After six months, I made the difficult decision to resign from my dream job, despite its lucrative salary. It was time to refocus on my boys and pursue my passion for making a difference in people’s lives. As a young girl, I had always aspired to help others, and now I am living that dream. Truly, dreams do come true!
